For anyone responsible for creating and producing user products, who realizes that a product’s effect is infinitely larger than satisfying personal user needs; Waarmakers creates designs that bring about a positive social impact, designs that materialise an ideology and trigger specific human behaviour.

We like stuff, but we like people better.

And: we’re engineers from TUDelft. It’s pretty much impossible for us to stop designing until every detail is engineered to fit our vision.

Azor Schokland

A gentleman’s city racer, inspired by classic early 20th century track bikes, design by Waarmakers, built by Azor Bikes in Hoogeveen.

The Schokland is a simple and extremely sturdy city speeder. With a coaster brake and an automatic two speed rear hub it’s one fast bike, without all the stuff that wouldn’t survive a week of inner city use by an average Amsterdam cyclist.

Lugged steel frame, Brooks saddle and grips, high quality parts, the Schokland is as indestructable as it is fast. This is a future heirloom.
